Muscle Building SupplementsMany muscle building supplements have come and gone over the years. They arrive with tons of creative and clever marketing, and many young readers spend hours staring at the glossy ads in their favorite magazines, deciding if Product XYZ is really the reason pro bodybuilder John Smith was able to add 25 pounds to his frame in the course of a single year. It’s rarely mentioned that the bodybuilder also happened to discover cycling growth hormone, insulin, and IGF-1 is also a nice combination for making insane gains at such a high level.

That being said, for those of us on the bottom half of the bodybuilding ladder, supplements actually can make a major difference. Top bodybuilders have maxed out their frames, and given their bodies insane amounts of protein for decades. We’re still new to it, in comparison. Supplements will be much more effective for us as we work to add muscle mass to our frames. But which muscle building supplements work best? Which will allow us to make similar changes to our bodies over the course of a month or a year? Let’s look at two muscle building supplements which might help you to reach your goals of gaining muscle, getting stronger, and shedding body fat.
